Promoting Online Content: Is Asia on Track?

CASBAA – along with other organizations interested in online copyright issues – is co-sponsoring a day-long discussion of digital content and digital piracy at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Fiber networks and Next Generation Broadband Networks (NGBN) will bring huge increases broadband speeds to consumer homes in the coming years. However, high-speed networks also increase the ease and impact of online copyright infringements.

Organized by the Centre for Content Promotion and the International Institute of Communications and co-sponsored by CASBAA, industry and government representatives at this seminar will present their updates on regional technical or policy developments and how those may be relevant for future viability of digital content delivery in Asia.
