SALES MANAGER (BEIJING)

Responsible for day to day clients servicing, new business opportunities and all other sales related tasks with particular focus on clients in the new media sector.

Responsibilities:

Sales Planning & Strategy

• Work with Sales Director to prepare annual Sales budgets
• Provide Sales estimates on individual projects
• Work with team to develop key program placement strategy to maximize revenue. Confirm sales deals to achieve budget targets
• Execute new business, marketing and promotional strategies that foster increased growth in greater China
• Monitor new media industry development and practices in the country, and identify material leads for new media opportunities

Sales Management

• Manage sales and deals with a client list, ensuring spend commitments are met and additional revenues generated.
• Ensure there is on-going marketing and publicity support for clients.
• Work with deal manager and other teams in contract preparation and other sales admin

Strategic Relationships

• Manage & monitor day to day relationships between all SPT divisions and clients, ensuring the highest quality service for all our clients
• Work closely with Business Affairs, Marketing & Publicity, Sales Planning, other Sony Pictures divisions and Sony companies
• Manage relationships with marketing/PR agency & partners locally

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years experience with successful sales tracking record in dealing/working with the Digital, New Media, Telecommunications and/or key portals/websites companies, etc. in a digital media management role
• Developed leadership skills, demonstrated through previous management role
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Experience working in either side of output deals/distribution deals
• Strong customer focus and relationship management
• Experience working in a team where all work towards goal achievement
• Ability to travel regularly both domestically and overseas.
• Fluent English Communication (Verbal/Written)
• Chinese National / Native Mandarin Speaker
