The rising tide of Asia: China and India

China and India, two of Asia’s most dynamic economies, have impressed the world with the unprecedented speed with which they have developed into global powerhouses accounting for the lion’s share of pay-TV subscribers and profitability. China is projected to possess 64% of Asia’s cable subscribers by 2015, with India accounting for a 21% by that time(source: Informa Asia Pacific TV 14th edtion).
