CHANNEL [V] Goes Mobile in Hong Kong

[V] content featuring Taiwanese Idol groups Lollipop and Hey Girl to be available on all leading mobile platforms

Hong Kong, June 4, 2009 - Lollipop and Hey Girl fans can now watch their favourite shows on the go as CHANNEL [V]’s flagship programmes featuring these two popular idol groups are available via Video On Demand (VOD) and mobile TV streaming services provided by all leading HK mobile operators including PCCW Mobile, CSL (1010, one2free and New World Mobility), SmarTone-Vodafone and 3.

Created by CHANNEL [V] Taiwan through its talent search/variety shows, Lollipop and Hey Girl are arguably two of the most popular idol groups in Mando-pop history, attracting young fans across the Greater China region and beyond. Both groups, as well as their juniors, Choc 7 and the new Mei Mei, are featured on their respective shows, Lollipop and Blackie’s Teenage Club, on CHANNEL [V] five days a week. The shows are now on offer to PCCW Mobile, CSL, SmarTone-Vodafone and 3 subscribers in Hong Kong for HK$3 a clip and/or for HK$18-20 a month with unlimited views.
