Diva fancies Hot Guys Who Cook

Universal Networks International has picked up format rights to Style Network’s Hot Guys Who Cook and intends to export the series to Asia. Hot Guys Who Cook Universal will make a 6x30’ series and air it in 20 territories on female-skewing entertainment channel Diva Universal from June. The series features 18 men who showcase their cooking skills and tell the stories behind their recipes in seven-minute challenges.

Beach House Productions and NBCUniversal International Television Production are producing the show.

E! News Asia host Jason Godfrey and actor and DJ Tom Price are two of the stars confirmed in the line-up of chefs.

The original programme was produced by Super Delicious Productions and aired for one season on Style in 2007.

Yvonne Pilkington, senior VP, production and format sales at NBCUniversal International, said: “This is the first international version of the format and we look forward to working with Universal Networks International to tailor the series for the Asian audience.”
