CASBAA appoints Setnicker to ad advocacy role

Asia Ad and video content association CASBAA has appointed Jenny Setnicker as its head of advertising development.

Setnicker will be responsible for marketing the benefits of multichannel advertising and the insight available from multi-channel TV. She will also promote the value proposition for pay TV to media agencies, clients and network owners.

Before joining CASBAA, Setnicker spent eight years at CNBC Asia working in ad sales and client content solutions. Prior to that, she worked on developing client sponsorships with the Omnicom Group in New York.

“With her extensive knowledge and experience in this industry, the appointment of Jenny is another significant step in CASBAA’s efforts to increase awareness of the power of advertising on multichannel TV,” says CASBAA chief executive Simon Twiston Davies.

Setnicker will also be promoting the best interests of CASBAA’s advertising members which includes A+E Networks, BBC Worldwide, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, FOX, NBC Universal, Sony Picture Television and Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific
