Discovery Enters Social TV Arena

Discovery Networks International (DNI) is breaking into social TV with an app pulling together social networks and its programming.

The app allows viewers to interact with on-air content through their Facebook and Twitter accounts.  It piloted in Latin America debuting on Discovery Home & Health during Say Yes to the Dress.

During the broadcast, the audience were given the chance to talk to the channel's fashion experts about on-air content and other topics viewers were interested in.
