Telstra partnering with MCN
Telstra’s decision to outsource sales of its digital assets will see a number of redundancies within the telecommunication giant’s advertising network.
Late last week, Telstra announced a partnership with Multi Channel Network(MCN) to sell ad sales packages that include 42 of Telstra’s online portals and sites.
A Telstra spokesperson confirmed that there will be redundancies within the Telstra Advertising Network (TAN) as a result but did not say how many.
“The announcement unfortunately will directly affect the jobs of a number of TAN employees, although the exact extent and numbers is not clear at this stage,” the spokesman said.
