Only a third of viewers consume TV conventionally

Recent study investigates how new media has changed TV consumption habits.

Traditional TV viewers remain the largest viewer segment but now only account for a third (33%) of people online who watch TV as other norms emerge, according to a recent study from research and forecasting firm Strategy Analytics.

Dubbed as the “couch potatoes”, none of these traditional TV viewers posted Twitter trending topics or hashtags on a weekly basis to follow a show they were watching, with fewer than one in five (18%) people online following their TV shows through Twitter.http://www.apb-news.com/news/x-platform/item/2019-only-a-third-of-viewers-consume-tv-conventionally.html
