Frequency Allocations for the C-Band
alt

History
At WRC-07 Vietnam did not sign the IMT opt-in footnotes. There is extensive use of the C-band, both standard and extended, in Vietnam and Vinsat carries transponders in the extended C-band.
Present Situation
In the national table of frequency allocations the FSS is given priority in all of the C-band. This is understandable since the national satellite system, Vinasat, carries transponders in the extended C-band and there is extensive use of the C-band, both standard and extended, in Vietnam.
National position on 3.4 – 4.2 GHz band under WRC-15 agenda item 1.1:

3 400 – 3 600 MHz

3 600 – 3 800 MHz

3 800 – 4 200 MHz
