Jetix On Demand delivers action, heroic adventures and cheeky humor to kids in Singapore on SingTel’s mio TV
Kids in Singapore will get a taste of a new exciting kids animation TV brand with the launch of Jetix On Demand on SingTel’s brand new mio TV service.
This was announced at a press conference today by Laura E. Wendt, vice president and managing director of Walt Disney Television International (Southeast Asia).
“This is the first Jetix-branded SVOD service in Asia and we¡¯re pleased that through mio TV, kids in Singapore can now enjoy Jetix shows that are 100% pure action, cheeky humor and heroic adventures,”said Wendt.
“Kids are a very important segment of the market and we are extremely excited about being the first to offer this unique channel,” said Ms. Vicki Brady, vice president of Consumer Marketing for mio TV. “With its fun programming and compelling content, we are certain that Jetix will quickly become a hot favourite among young Singaporean audiences.”
Jetix is a brand that embodies active fun, full of adventure and cheeky humor set in fantastic worlds where anything is possible. Aimed at kids six to 14 years old, the service will include all-original Jetix shows such as W.I.T.C.H., Get Ed, Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go!, and A.T.O.M. (Alpha Teens on Machines). More animation series such as Pucca and YinYangYo! will become available on Jetix On Demand in the near future.
Priced at S$6.42 a month (inclusive of GST), Jetix On Demand is one of nine channels on mio TV’s slate of RENT-A-PACK channels. The service showcases 20 hours of all-original Jetix content with a 25% monthly refresh rate.
