4 Dec, 2015 – Entertainment One (eOne) has licensed AMC’s martial arts drama Into the Badlands to LeTV for its online streaming service in China.
Based loosely on the Chinese classic novel Journey to the West, the post-apocalyptic drama will launch on LeTV’s streaming video services in early 2016. It stars Daniel Wu as ruthless warrior, Sunny, and Aramis Knight (The Dark Knight Rises) as a young boy called MK who embark on a spiritual odyssey across a dangerous land.
“We’re delighted to partner with LeTV, one of the largest online platforms in China, to bring this blockbuster series to the Chinese audience,” said Ben Bishop, regional sales director, eOne.
