Jakarta, August 17, 2015 – CNN Indonesia began broadcasting today marking an historic day for CNN International, Transmedia and the people of Indonesia.
From brand new state-of-the-art news facilities located in the Transmedia broadcast centre in Jakarta, CNN Indonesia offers viewers a mix of national and international news, plus the latest in business and sport in Bahasa Indonesia.
The start of CNN Indonesia TV follows the launch of CNNIndonesia.com in October last year. The digital platform is an integral component of the CNN Indonesia brand with the ability to reach Indonesians at home and abroad.

12 August 2015 – TrueVisions, pay-television arm of True Group, has recorded a revenue of THB5.90 billion in the first half of the year 2015, raise by 20.4% year-on-year, as compared to THB4.90 billion in the first half of the year 2014. Its service revenue and product revenue stood at THB5.82 billion and THB81 million respectively in 1H 2015. At the end of June 2015, its pay-TV subscriber base was 2.7 million.

August 11, 2015 – Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) will relocate its free-to-air channel, Pearl Channel from the Multiple Frequency Network (MFN), to the Single Frequency Network (SFN). The Communications Authority (CA) has permitted TVB for relocation of channel frequency as TVB’s existing temporary spectrum assignment of additional 1.5 Mbps capacity in the MFN for the broadcast of Jade and Pearl in high definition format expires and also to ensure higher picture quality.
