Latest Movies On Demand – now TV provides customers with a private cinema experience, thanks to the now Video Express First platform. Customers may watch the latest and greatest Hollywood, Asian and Bollywood movies, some of which are made available the same day as their DVD release. Customers can enjoy 48 hours of unlimited viewing once they rent a title and may also watch it via the now Player app anytime, anywhere. The movie lineup for the second quarter of 2016 includes Academy Awards-winning feature films “The Revenant”, along with “The Danish Girl” and “Joy”, as well as Hollywood smash hits such as “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens” and “Deadpool”. Also available will be family movies such as “The Good Dinosaur” and “The Little Prince” in addition to local productions “Keeper of Darkness” and “Imprisoned: Survival Guide for Rich and Prodigal” (full version).
now TV will also support the 35th Hong Kong Film Award Ceremony on April 3 with both a live coverage of the event on Star Chinese Movies as well as screenings of most of the nominated productions.
- Partnership with Netflix – now TV has recently announced a partnership that will see the delivery of Netflix content to customers, starting the second quarter of 2016, via now TV set-top boxes. This will make now TV the first operator in Hong Kong to provide the best large-screen and 4K UHD Netflix experience via its set top box.
