 SINGAPORE, 25 JULY 2016 – The teams may be Blue, Purple, Red and Yellow, but the competition is glowing green as the Nickelodeon stars have been sorted into their 2016 Nickelodeon Slime Cup teams and are ready to compete in the The Slime Cup Games, an on-air event set to premiere on Monday, 1 August at 3pm (TH/WIB), 4pm (HK/MY/SG) and 4.30pm (PH) on Nickelodeon. During this week-long special from 1 to 5 August, for two-hours a day, the four Slime Cup teams will compete in the slimiest and gooiest of challenges with the goal of accumulating the most Slime points to win the Slime Cup trophy. The winning team will be announced on Friday, 5 August. The challenges will be accompanied by new competition-themed episodes of live-action favorites Bella and The Bulldogs; Game Shakers; Henry Danger; Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn; and The Thundermans. A catch-up of the new episodes will be aired on Friday, 5 August at 3pm (TH/WIB), 4pm (HK/MY/SG) and 4.30pm (PH). Repeat telecasts of this special will air from 1 to 5 August at 7pm (TH), 8pm (HK/SG) and 8.30pm (PH).
  • Monday, 1 August: Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn Diary of an Angry Quad

Dawn plots to get back at Nicky, Ricky and Dicky for reading her diary one too many times, leading to none of them trusting one another and a prank that goes a little too far.

  • Tuesday, 2 August: Bella and The Bulldogs Parents & Pigskins

Bella fears that her mom is going to be embarrassed at the annual parents and students flag football game. Newt and Sawyer worry that Troy has a secret weapon for the game.

  • Wednesday, 3 August: Henry Danger Twin Henrys

Henry has Schwoz’s shape-shifting android fill in for him at a family dinner so he can watch the MMA fight of the year with Charlotte and Ray.

Hank raises the stakes of family game night to a new high, and each member of the family will do whatever it takes to win the grand prize.

Leading up to The Slime Cup Games, Nickelodeon will be airing the Orange Carpet Special Edition: Slime Cup, an 11-minute special featuring Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawnco-stars Casey Simpson and Lizzy Greene. The two co-hosts will take fans behind the scenes of the 2016 Nickelodeon Slime Cup. Lizzy and Casey will check out this year’s activities, get the inside scoop on the players’ strategies to win, and even experience a bit of the Slime action themselves!

Kids at home can head to slimecup.com to register and play in the all-new interactive Slime Cup Games digital game, a collection of sports-themed, mini games featuring Nickelodeon’s popular animated characters. Gameplay via the Slime Cup Games interactive game earns kids Slime points, which automatically go towards their team’s tally as well as their individual standing within the local leaderboard for the chance at winning their own Slime Cup trophy and medal. Slime points are also redeemable for digital in-game rewards at the Nickelodeon SlimeStand marketplace.

 The site also includes additional games, quizzes, polls, photo flip books, player profiles, and exclusive videos. Kids can also create their very own customizable team stat cards or train along with their team via the Training Camp fitness challenge, in partnership with Team UNICEF.

 On the final day of the weeklong stunt, the winning team will be revealed as the Slime points earned by kids in the Slime Cup Games digital game will be tallied up alongside the Slime points accrued by the Nickelodeon stars in the televised events. The team with the highest Slime point tally will be crowned the 2016 Slime Cup champions.

This July and August, four teams of Nickelodeon live-action stars will compete in slimey head-to-head on-air challenges.
