SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation (HQ: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & Chief Executive Officer: Shinji Takada; “SKY Perfect JSAT” below) has concluded a contract for a launch service for its JCSAT-14 communications satellite with Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) (HQ: the United States of America; Gwynne Shotwell , President and COO ). JCSAT-14 will replace JCSAT-2A in geostationary orbit at 154degree East Longitude. The contract for the construction of the satellite was concluded on June 12, 2013. The launch is scheduled for the second half of 2015.
