(Aug 26, 2014) True Group, the communications arm of Thai business conglomerate Charoen Pokphand Group, is adding movies to its diversified business portfolio.
True iContent, a wholly owned subsidiary of True Group, is investing 50 million baht ($1.5 million) in a joint venture with three local film studios to produce Thai movies that appeal to both domestic and international audiences. The investment buys a nearly 30% stake in a new company, Transformation Films.
