28 July 2015 – Qatar-based broadcaster beIN Sports has acquired the Middle East and North Africa broadcast rights for the Olympic games between 2018 and 2024.
The pay-TV network reportedly paid over US$150 million to secure the coverage of four Games in total from the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
