Eurosport Secures Champions League For Singapore

eurosport 123Singapore/Bali, 23 April 2015 – Eurosport, the leading pan-regional sports entertainment destination, today announces that it has secured exclusive media rights for the UEFA Champions League in Singapore. This agreement with UEFA – the governing body of football in Europe – runs for three years from the 2015/2016 season.

Eurosport will broadcast one live match on Tuesdays and one live match on Wednesdays for the entire season. A highlight show will follow each live match and all additional matches will be made available to viewers online through OTT.

Launched in 1992, the UEFA Champions League features the league champions of all UEFA member associations (excluding Liechtenstein) as well as those clubs finishing from second to fourth position in the strongest leagues. The 32 teams are drawn into eight groups of four teams with group winners and runners-up proceeding to a knockout phase.
