HGTV Starts Strong in Singapore

SINGAPORE, 23 July 2015: Scripps Networks Interactive, Asia Pacific is proud to announce that HGTV, Asia’s only regional home focused channel dedicated to entertaining viewers with inspiring stories about the home, has achieved strong ratings in Singapore since it launched in December 2014.

As measured by Kantar Media, HGTV has maintained consistently strong ratings, holding its position as the number one lifestyle channel in Singapore from January 2015 to June 2015 among female cable viewers between 25-54. When measured against 37 other English pay TV channels including movies, general entertainment and sports channels, HGTV also recorded the highest average time spent of 37 minutes during the same period. In June 2015, audience viewing time topped at 56 minutes.
