Movideo restructures and expands global management team

movideo 123x38AUSTRALIA, MONDAY MARCH 9: Movideo has today announced the expansion of its management team with the addition of former Turner Director, Broadcast & Media Technology, Steven Kopec.

The news adds to an already impressive start to 2015 for Movideo who just recently revealed that TV5MONDE have chosen their platform to power its services across Asia Pacific.

As Director of Customer Success, Steven Kopec will join the Movideo management team out of their Hong Kong office working across all current and expanding markets. He is charged with the management and optimisation of Movideo’s Consulting Services and Customer Support. With a career in media information technology spanning 20 years Steven is joining Movideo from Turner Broadcasting where he held the role of Director, Broadcast and Media Technology APAC. Most recently, Steven’s efforts have included work on mobile product creation, content distribution technologies and Turner’s efforts in multiplatform content delivery.
CEO Tony McGinn said: “We are thrilled with Steven’s addition to the Movideo leadership team. Movideo has also announced two new Director Positions; Director of Product and Direct of Solitons, Systems & QA. These positions have been filled after an extensive global search by MitchelLake Group and will be announced at the end of the month.

This restructure and senior additions at Movideo follow the announcement that Movideo’s CTO Cameron Moore is leaving the company to pursue a career move to the U.S. McGinn said; “Cameron has been with Movideo and its parent company MCM Entertainment Group for 7 years. He was instrumental in the formation of Movideo and the building of our Platform. We support Cameron in his new career endeavours and he supports us in the continued successful growth of Movideo, Cameron remains a consultant to Movideo”.
