DIVA and E! to Launch on Singtel TV in Singapore

NBCU RGB 123Singapore, 28 January 2015 – NBCUniversal International Television today announced a new carriage deal with Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel) for DIVA HD and E! Entertainment Television HD – two of the company’s core channel brands in the Universal Networks International portfolio. The two female-focused channels will be offered as part of Singtel TV’s Family+ Pack on Channel 303 (DIVA HD) and Channel 328 (E! HD).

Both Downton Abbey and The Good Wife air ‘Express From the U.K. and the U.S.’, 24 to 48 hours after their world premieres. Critically acclaimed legal drama Suits (season four) airs within 48 hours of its U.S. telecast and returns from hiatus on Friday, 30 January at 10:15pm.
In the reality sphere, DIVA is home to top-rated series such as How Do I Look? (season ten; premieres Monday, 16 February at 8pm), Say Yes To The Dress: Atlanta (season seven; premieres 5 February, Thursdays and Fridays at 7pm) and Australia’s #1 cooking competition show, My Kitchen Rules (season six; coming soon in May).

Fans of reality TV will also enjoy E!, NBCUniversal International Television’s pop culture powerhouse. With content coming to Singapore ‘Express From Hollywood’, up to 90% of E!’s first-run programming airs within 48 hours of its U.S. premiere, such as sensational reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians (season ten; premieres Tuesday, 17 March at 9pm), Christina Milian Turned Up and fashionably funny talk show Fashion Police. Airing 17 style-studded episodes throughout the year, Fashion Police is focused exclusively on the excitement surrounding the biggest red carpet and fashion events of 2015. New host, comedienne Kathy Griffin, is joined by Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic, as well as new panellist, celebrity stylist and television personality Brad Goreski.

Topical and up-to-the-minute, E! covers and generates buzz 24/7 with its same-day telecasts of Live From The Red Carpet and E! News, giving viewers unprecedented coverage of the latest happenings in Hollywood.

On the Asian front, localization is a key feature of E!’s content mix. Among the channel’s local productions include E! News Asia coverage of the most-talked about events around the region, and an upcoming E! Music Special on the L.A.-based Malaysian singer Yuna.
Existing Singtel TV subscribers will get to enjoy a free preview of DIVA and E! from 30 January to 5 March.
