Mumbai, June 29, 2015 – Under sunny blue skies, key political officials and more than 200 VIPs from the local community attended the ground breaking of the first-of-its-kind Nature Cure/Ayurvedic wellness center. Dr. Subhash Chandra, Chairman, Essel Group and ZEE, addressed the dignitaries, community and led the groundbreaking ceremony on the first official International Yoga Day.
This major economic initiative for the county in addition to promoting health and wellness will also be very instrumental in creating more job opportunities and overall economic development for the community at large.
The company, thus far, has invested $18 million and has committed $100 million dollar as planned for the first phase to turn the legendary Kutsher’s Country Club (Dirty Dancing fame) into a 260,000 square foot Nature Cure/Ayurvedic Wellness Center. This initiative is part of his total commitment to invest $250 million on the 5 pillars of wellness.

I am confident that the International Yoga Day which our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has initiated will have a strong impact on humanity.”
