March 6, 2015 – Subscribers using SingTel services will be able to make and receive calls via their home or office Wi Fi networks. According to the telecom operator, users will experience faster and seamless transfer between LTE and Wi Fi using the new technology.
“Wi-Fi calling allows operators to benefit from cost-efficient deployment of extended voice coverage and fast time-to-market,” said Nicholas Seow, Head of Ericsson Singapore and Brunei, according to a news release.
